New ways towards new qualification

In Oldenburger Münsterland, investors find educational structures oriented towards demand. The leading plastic region hosts the only technical college for plastics in Lower Saxony. The University of Vechta has established itself besides the education of teachers particularly by the Lower Saxony competence centre for food industry as a research location. The „Private Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft und Technik mit Berufsakademie Oldenburger Münsterland (private technical college for economics and technics with job academy) leads students in a decent time span towards their engineering or business administration degrees besides their training in the companies in ideally organised study courses.

Due to this cooperation we were able to create 12,358 additional jobs subject to social security contributions since 2000. Our increase in the level of employment of 10.9 percent is all the more surprising as in Germany and Lower Saxony, employment decreased in the same reference period by more than 3 percent.
