The agricultural machinery manufacturer Meyer-Lohne GmbH of Lohne will be presenting several innovations: These include the fouraxled manure spreading vehicles up to 30,000 litres capacity for use in a transport chain with lorries or tractor-type vehicles. These quattro manure vehicles have air suspension in series production. All axles have electronic compulsory steering. Meyer has now developed the cargo tank trailer for transport between farm and field in the sizes 26,000 to 28,000 litres. It is designed for 33 t permissible total weight up to 60 km/h and its distinguishing feature is a favourable price-performance ratio with low own weight. The newly developed screw displacement pump 1S170 with a delivery rate of 11,700 litres/min. meets the highest demands on power, operational life span and efficiency. Existing 1S150 displacement pumps can be modified later to the new version without any problems. Because of foreign substances in the manure displacement pumps can be used with the pre-switched MEYLO-Turbo-CUT 5000LS. In order to compensate for the reduction in cutter performance, suction accelerators are increasingly being pre-switched. Cutter and suction accelerators need two oil engines with at least 130 litres oil performance. Many small and old tractors don't have such efficient hydraulics. With the combined new development of the Meylo-Turbo-Cutter in one casing with integrated suction accelerator both work devices are driven by one oil engine with an oil performance of 90 litres at the most. As the first manufacturer of manure vehicles Meyer-Lohne offers an Ecotronic EBS braking system with integrated ABS and sway/pitch compensation on request. The advantage for the user is the highest possible level of driving safety and comfort. In view of rising mineral oil fertiliser prices and environmental requirements Meyer-Lohne GmbH is presenting the strip-till manure application technology: Energy costs are saved by working the soil and fertilising with manure in one working step. With strip-till manure injection the manure is used efficiently and in an environmentallyfriendly way, thus saving expensive mineral oil fertiliser. With XTill Hugo Vogelsang Maschinenbau GmbH is presenting a first model which combines strip till technology with manure root fertilisation. With this Vogelsang is worldwide one of the first companies to offer a ready-to-market device which works the soil in strips in one step and at the same time brings in manure and fermentation residue. The XTill S model makes it possible to place the supply of nutrients precisely in the soil. Thus the potential of manure and fermentation residue as a nutrient source can best be exploited. In addition, mineral fertilisers can be saved in this way. Since the manure is distributed as a root nutrient band the smell for neighbours can be reduced to a minimum. A further new product is the robust farmer pump, which has been specially developed for agricultural applications. The pump is equipped with numerous new features such as face seal, circulation lubrication and a revolving central plate. In this way Vogelsang ensures easier service and maintenance and an increase in the operational life span, since the pump remains even more robust against the fibre material contained in the manure. Vogelsang will also provide information on the electrokinetic disintegration process and the advantages of the bioCrack-Systems. It has been proven that BioCrack increases the efficiency of a biogas system by increasing the gas exploitation and reducing the requirement for its own energy. WELTEC BIOPOWER GmbH from Vechta delivers supplies full biogas systems from which it manufactures completely and thus it has developed into a leading supplier of biogas systems. The strength of this medium-sized company is individual solutions – from the compact system, computer-controlled large systems in the megawatt range, rubbish utilisation systems to biogas parks with gas processing technology. The systems are constructed in modular form: at WELTEC BIOPOWER only tried and tested system components are used and the company develops a large part of the technologies along the complete added value chain itself: fermenter technology, agitating technology, steering technology, purification systems and solutions for the processing of the fermentation residue come from the company. WELTEC constructs fermenters from stainless steel, because the sulphur hydroxide and ammoniac contained in biogas attacks unprotected components. This ensures that the system has a long operational life. In addition the vertical integration guarantees that there is a constantly high standard irrespective of location and ensures an export quota which is significantly above the average for the sector.
